Job Profile Summary
The Regional Purchasing Manager will lead purchasing team members and supplier partners to execute tactical purchasing activities and implement contract programs at the facility level with the intention to achieve maximum cost reductions and efficiencies. Responsible for effectively administering the Procure to Pay process. Additionally, the Regional Purchasing Manager communicates KPI and project status across the organization in the various Indirect materials and services categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Control and improve the procure to pay process
- Document standard work and policies to support the procure to pay process
- Execute the sourcing strategies set by the sourcing team at the facility level
- Document standard work to support the deployment of indirect materials and services
- Utilizes MOC best practices and coordinates trials/product testing while informing stakeholders
- Ensure contract terms and deliverables are met
- Leverage and make necessary changes at the facility level to maximize advantages in the contracts
- Track and report KPI’s to senior leaders
- Track progress and lead cross functional teams to identify & execute cost out opportunities through suppliers
- Facilitate yearly supplier scorecard evaluations to support the sourcing team’s supplier business review
- Ability to travel up to 20%
Education and Experience
- Typically possesses 5-7 years of relevant experience in sourcing, purchasing or manufacturing focused project management
- 2-3 years experience Indirect Purchasing: Indirect materials, facility services, IT, professional services
- 3 years in a management of people role
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

- Proficient in Project Management methodologies, processes and tools
- Able to build and maintain effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to create and lead the implementation of sourcing strategies
- Full and clear understanding of contractual language
- Strong leadership, motivational and interpersonal skills
- Possesses a fundamental understanding of plant manufacturing operations
- Possesses previous experience working in project management, accounting, purchasing, or sourcing role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and any other relevant software
